Welcome to Modern Safety Services. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Modern Safety Services's Website and Services, located in Kolkata, West Bengal.

1. Quotations and Estimates

Any quotation or estimate provided during our free site visits is valid for 30 days. Final pricing is subject to change if the scope of work changes, if additional wiring or hardware is required, or if unforeseen structural difficulties arise during installation.

2. Installation and Servicing

Our technicians will endeavor to complete all installations and repairs within the agreed timeframe. However, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, power outages, or unavailability of the client). It is the client's responsibility to ensure our team has safe and unhindered access to the premises.

3. Warranties

• Hardware: All cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related equipment are subject to the manufacturer's standard warranty. Modern Safety Services acts as an installer and facilitator, not the manufacturer.
• Workmanship: We provide a standard warranty on our installation workmanship (e.g., wiring, mounting) for a specified period after installation, protecting against immediate defects in our setup.
• Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by natural disasters (lightning, floods), power surges, physical vandalism, or tampering by unauthorized third parties.

4. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)

AMC agreements cover routine servicing, cleaning, and labor for repairs as specified in the individual contract. Replacement of faulty hardware parts that are out of manufacturer warranty will be billed separately. Priority service is provided to all active AMC holders.

5. Limitation of Liability

Modern Safety Services provides security equipment designed to deter and record events. However, we do not guarantee that our systems will prevent theft, property damage, or physical harm. We shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses, including loss of data, inventory, or profits, resulting from system failure or offline periods.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
